Moonlight Shadow never quite made it to number 1, reached 4 in UK, Shadow on the Wall never got close maybe made the top 100. At one time I had just about everything Mike Oldfield had ever done and I believe he was ahead of his time. After all it was his Tubular Bells which made Richard Branson waaaay back then

Mike Oldfield actually had three No 1 Albums; 'Tubular bells', 'Hergest Ridge' and 'Tubular Bells II', all in the UK. Not including 'Crises' in Norway and Sweden also No 1 in both countries. So I don't believe he belongs here unless you are restricting this to singles, in which case I don't think he ever had one..
