Q. Can you recommend some good guitar schools for me?

A. Guitar schools come in lots of different sizes and colors. Almost any guitar player can find a good fit when they are looking into their guitar education. For most students, getting a good guitar education does not really mean spending a lot of time researching all the guitar schools in the country.

I think most students should start with a qualified private teacher and learn all they can from all the teachers they can. This should start as a child, maybe 8 to 10 years old. This gives you the opportunity to spend most of your teenage years studying and playing with friends and other musicians.

After high school you may decide to study music more formally. At that point you have to decide whether a life in the musical world is really what you want. In any case, there are tons of musically related jobs available out there.
