Q. How long have you been giving guitar lessons?A. I can clearly remember the first day I started teaching the guitar. I was in 8th grade and a couple of 7th graders heard me playing after school. They were young and in experienced enough to be some what impressed and asked if I would give them guitar lessons.
At first it seemed a little silly but then I realized I could probably charge them a few bucks. At the time, my teacher was charging $3.50 for his lessons. I figured I would have to charge a little less, so $2.50 it was.
The next day we got together and played for a little while. I had a lot of fun trying to explain things to them that I just barely understood myself. After a few weeks we all seemed to get the hang of it. In any case, that was the beginning of my career as a guitar teacher.
