Blog & Forum are on the move!

Thursday, June 4th, 2009 by Neil

Hi Gang,

We will be moving the Blog and the Forum very soon. Their new home will be part of the Community section.

We are also revamping the Ask Neil section for TARGET members. Please post questions in the Ask Neil part of the TARGET Members Forum. Then the answers will be put on the Neil’s Answers board. It has been a little difficult to tell if your question was addressed or not.

Stay tuned and in touch,

Neil

More News

Sunday, April 19th, 2009 by Neil

Hi Gang,

Something I forgot to bring up in the last post. We really appreciate the responses to the survey and want to announce the winners of the drawing, but, only 7 of the 10 have responded. Here is the scoop, and if you haven’t checked in for a few days, you might be one of the missing 3! These nice folks are exploring our TARGET Program right now. The winners who have responded are-

Richard Kiefer
Michael Solmos
Dan Smith
David Clute
Rex Ward
Lisa S.
Ric Steffen

Stay tuned and in touch,

Neil

Complete Lessons… and News -

Sunday, April 19th, 2009 by Neil

Hi Gang,

I hope you have enjoyed the last batch of complete lessons with TAB. Judging from the responses I would have to guess that that has been the case. In case you missed any of them, they are in the Video section and include today’s additions- Roxanne and Down On The Corner.

We are on the brink of rolling out the next phase here at TotallyGuitars… but let me give you a quick video announcement-

HELP! - Take the First Ever TG Questionnaire!

Friday, April 10th, 2009 by Neil

Hey Gang!

I was talking to my team here at Totally Guitars and we started talking about how we can better help you give you what you need. We went back and forth and back and forth with ideas until finally, we decided the absolute best way to give you what you want is to ASK you myself!

So, I put together this questionnaire and I hope that you’ll take the time to answer these questions so that I can get cracking on getting them done between giving lessons.

Oh, and the team and I also decided this…

We’re gonna give away a special thank you present to 10 lucky people, who take the time to answer these questions. The real value of this present is over $8,700! Yeah… it shocked me too!

Only 10 lucky people will get it, BUT I will do my best to get as many of your needs met on the site. Just ask.

Thanks in advance for taking your valuable time to tell me how I can help you more.

Stay tuned and in touch,
Neil

…Downloading Videos and Other Thoughts

Thursday, April 9th, 2009 by Neil

Hi Gang,

A couple of quick thoughts. There is a dedicated group of core people working very hard to make TotallyGuitars one of the best music and instruction sites on the web. As we try to grow and strengthen the TG Community there are a couple of things that you can do to help us out.

The first is to spread the word about what we are doing to any and all of your friends and contacts that might be interested. I know that many of us are very involved with the social media networks like Facebook and Twitter. These have become the new method of contemporary communication and a vital part of people’s lives. Please be sure to include TotallyGuitars in your lists of favorite sites, in videos you might post demonstrating something you’ve learned, and mention our name and refer people to our site as often as possible. This will really help spread the word and keep the TG Community growing.

The second, and maybe even more important thing you can do is to help us preserve and protect the TG Community. My co-founders and I have invested literally thousands of hours dedicated to making TotallyGuitars the absolute best instructional and informational site in the world. We will be bringing you some of the most comprehensive lessons and instruction, in the highest quality video available that you have ever seen. You will be amazed at the resources we will be unveiling very soon.

As wonderful as that is, we need to be realistic and face the fact that TotallyGuitars is a commercial site and the talented group of people who have been bringing it to you at their own considerable expense would love to continue to do so. However, we all have “day” jobs that we need to spend much of our time and energy on. We would love nothing more than to turn TotallyGuitars into our “day” jobs. You can help make that happen by respecting our proprietary resources and keeping our videos “in house”, meaning please do not download and distribute them outside of the TG Community.

We are on the brink of a revolutionary new way of reaching and interacting with guitar players around the world. Most of the pieces of the puzzle are in place. The final piece is you. Please give us your complete support and join us on this exciting journey.

We REALLY appreciate your cooperation and participation here at TG.

Stay tuned and in touch,

Neil

Make sure in your Digg title or description you mention something about acoustic guitars lessons.

For example good title:
1 acoustic guitar lesson great article
2 how to play Angie on acoustic guitar

Good description:
1 Found this great acoustic guitar site where I learned to play (insert song here)
2 I read this incredible article about this guy Neil Hogan who has great acoustic guitar lessons.

Just make your digg genuine. You do not have to put a URL in your Digg post.
