I have seen other people teach this song, but they don't put in the effort to learning the details of a song, they just get the chords and fake it. I am willing to bet that if Neil were to do this song it would song very much like the original, and I for one would love to be able to play it like the recording everyone is familiar with. -D

This is not really that difficult to play, the lead is challenging though.

99% of the tabs for this song are correct because Ritchie Sambora taught this on his lesson DVD. The riff is pretty challenging but with practice you can do it. If I can do it, then anyone can.

Hmmmm, I think I would kind of like to see Neil Hogan working with a Heil Talk Box and playing "Livin' On A Prayer". lol Desmond, Andy T is right. Check out Richie's DVD lesson and it will be very helpful for you to learn. This song is a lot of fun to play on a 12-string and it sounds really good.
