Hey Folks,
This year we have already had another Hummingbird family come and go. Meanwhile, a pair of House Finches chose our front porch to start their homestead. As of March 31 Mama is sitting on 4 eggs and Papa is usually nearby. I will try to keep the stream running as their lives evolve.

Saturday, April 2.

Mama on 5 eggs today.

Sunday. April 3

April 5 - Bad day for the Finch family, unfortunately- And not for the faint of heart... At about 2:47:30 the scrub jay invasion begins. Between 3:05:00 and 3:10:00 or so the parents came back to survey the wreckage.
