Guitar's Story: I was so influenced by the guitar sound of AMERICA and especially the 12 string sound. I love the full, bright, jangling sound and the broader neck. Bought it in 1988 (I think!) in Germany. It's a copy of a Martin design. It's a big and quite hefty so you really know you have a GUITAR in your hands!
great old guitarwritten by showcasetest My fingers hurt just looking at it!! Love the Canada strap though!written by AcousticAl love this chris the strap is very hoganesquewritten by TGMatt This model came after the Martin 'Lawsuit' Taks of the 70's. Which is a myth anyway Tak changed style before Lawsuit eventuated apparently.written by Chasplaya The top on this model was Cedar and the Fingerboard is rosewood. The cutaway version had an ugly Ebony block rosettewritten by Chasplaya Thanks for the info on the top wood Chas. I can't imagine the point of a cutaway 12 string! The cutaways hurt the acoustic sound of any guitar and I never play above the 14th fret any way so... wish I could find the link you sent me with all the details of my Tak according to the serial number...written by neverfoundthetime Send me the serial again, I'll check it out again, I think I still have the info sitewritten by Chasplaya
