But first, a little background on myself. I am a 46 year old who decided to learn to play guitar about one year ago at the encouragement of my wife. I have always loved music but never played anything. I started with guitar lessons with a recommended instructor and we meet once a week (about 3 times per month). The learning curve at first was SLOW, basic chord shapes with parts of recognizable songs. With time and practice playing not only got easier but something that I daily look forward to.
