Angie is like many other great Rolling Stones songs in that it features a very distinctive opening guitar part, although it is unusual because it is done on an acoustic guitar. This lesson goes over the intro in a very detailed manner, as well as the basic rhythm guitar parts that accompany the vocals. Neil plays a Chord Solo version of it in the Play Through section and tab for that is included. The techniques needed to create this type of instrumental are covered in our Acoustic Genius Series lesson titled Chord Solos Volume 1.
I also agree with some of the comments. The intro is excellent and thanks to Neil, I now have it nailed. Notwithstanding, I believe that the chord solos parts require better explanations especially the bridge parts between chords. Thanks

this is not a good lesson - and you should hum or get a singer to help put the song in context

Have you sent in a Support ticket? Everything seems to open fine for me.

Many of the Play Through segments include an improvised Chord Solo. We have a set of lessons on getting started creating them as it is best to learn to do this yourself. I have added a Chord Solo Outline to this lesson and will doing the same with some of the others soon.

I must agree with some of the previous comments, the tabs are useless and what Neil is playing at the start is more what i am after. Why can't we have the complete tabs for the music played at the start? Is there another lesson for the intro music? So far this wasn't worth my time or the money.

neil you should explain some parts of the song more precise please, out of all the small kind of "bridge" peaces between the gsus4 and the F-chord or between the C-chord and Aminor

Most people who want to play accustic guitar do itbecause they want to sing along, and it is nice that you can both play the nelody and the solo, but I think you should have someone singing, sice it seems that you do not like or can't sing. Just a suggestion

Neil, I love you lead in to Angie. Is that actually the same as the tab you include with the lesson? Sounds like so much more. And, this is my second note, last one a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone read these?
