This lesson goes over the simple rhythm accompaniment. Tab is now included to the Chord Solo that Neil improvised in the Play Through segment.

really wish you'd show how to play the melody like you did on the sampel you tube piece- how can I get to that? thx craigwritten by likestoplay, September 05, 2011
thanks, I was surprised how simple this was to pick up with a basic strum. Hope to work on spicing it up a bit. I had totally forgotten how much I liked this album as a kid. It's been a couple years written by erik , February 01, 2010
It would be great to see the "Play Through" version in detail.written by Reid , October 27, 2009
Neil, Just wanted to take a minute to thank you for doing such a thorough job on these lessons. Being on your side of the camera is a tough job and you do it well! The best I've seen, and I've invested in a lot of video lessons and DVDs. I've learned so much from the extra detail (and diversions) that you add to these lessons. Thanks, John written by John Sadie, October 17, 2009
I guess everybody missed the Forum threads that discussed this a long time ago. Some of the newer songs (Harvest Moon for example) start working on adding the melody to the chords. As I add more that do this, the idea is that you will be able to start creating your own arrangements, even on the spot. In any case, we are definitely headed in that direction. By the way, I think the thread was called "Different Versions" or something similar. Neilwritten by Neil, July 26, 2009
Ditto! I would like to see the detail parts that really set your version above the camp fire versionwritten by MArk Bolan, June 14, 2009
yea i also just joined recently and have noticed the same thing. more complete lessons and tabs/sheet music wouldbe much better. There are some decent lessons but for a monthly subscription i'd like to see more complete songs....not just partial sections. I'll hang out a bit longer...hopefully he will step it up a notchwritten by Pat, June 03, 2009
I've been noticing that since I joined yesterday: the "playthroughs" often contain a bunch of stuff -- melody lines in the chords, usually -- that I'd like to learn. Then you get to the lesson and it's just the chords. "Wish You Were Here" is an even more frustrating example. And there's no explanation that I can find as to why he does this, or whether more advanced lessons referring to the "playthrough" versions are on the way. Good site in general, though. Several nice lessons.written by Dan Mitchell, June 01, 2009
Nice song....I would love a second version in which you would "BREAK IT DOWN" the same way you played it in the "PLAY THROUGH". It's much more interesting with all the extras thrown in. Thanks, Maxwritten by Max, May 26, 2009
