Ain't No Sunshine This lesson on Ain't No Sunshine goes into the way Bill really played it, using simple, 3-string reductions of chords from our standard 'E' and 'A' barre families. These reductions mean no barre is necessary. The right hand picks out a simple pattern that alternates a bass note hit with the thumb and a pair of strings plucked with two fingers. There is also a brief look at a background lead part.
I would enjoy a stab at the instrumental version.

Great song! Add instumental would be good as next step.

I agree, this is a great little tune but some ideas for the instrumental would be great.

Neil, we probably can figure out the solo from the video and understanding the chord progression but would think the instrumental would be included as part of this lesson to complete it. Perhaps to make it interesting, consider little fills for the soloist in order to keep the song moving. Just a thought, but in any case, nice to see this lesson on here.
