TARGET Members will have any Charts, TAB, and Guitar Pro Files The Sage starts out like many Lake tunes with a nice cross-picking accompaniment over a couple of extended chords in the key of A minor. This continues for a pair of verses, ending with a solid cadence on the tonic. The classical part introduces us to the technique of using a pick in combination with the right hand fingers, similar to fingerstyle, really. This is a great way to play a song that requires arpeggios, plucked chords on non-adjacent strings, fast single-string runs, and even strumming (which does not happen in this song).

Neil~ This is a fantastic song to work on. It brings a new technique with every bar of music. Please share the rest with us on your playthrough. Three weeks into this song and ready for the rest. All the best. Hogman~written by hogman, May 30, 2011

Seems to work for me. You might need to download it and then open it from inside GuitarPro.written by a guest, October 12, 2010
The Guitar Pro tab file is corrupted, can you fix?written by transmit, October 09, 2010
Yep, I can play it now. Hurrah! All I need now is for Neil to show how he plays the final part that incorporates the melody line. That would be nice.written by itfc1959, February 12, 2010
Could you please write out the tab for the last section of your performance play through.written by Robert Labus , January 06, 2010
Neil, Nice lesson on a tough song. Could you expand out the classical section more and add more detail and time-I believe this would improve this great lesson. Thanks, Robwritten by walker65, December 03, 2009
