In this lesson Kevin came in feeling like he was in a bit of a guitar slump and not getting, or making enough time to practice. Part of it may have come from feeling like we were working on a few too many new things at once. We talked about some ways to break out of that funk, one of which included playing a fun, easy song. I picked Comfortably Numb out of the blue and we ran through the chords. Then we spent a little time with Friend Of the Devil and tried to stay on the simplifying plan. By the end he was encouraged and looking forward to getting back on track.
