Rebecca asked Neil about working on Blackbird one day. He showed her the first three measures then handed her the tab and said learn the rest. She didn’t know anything about reading tab at the time but figured it out based on knowing the beginning and comparing it to the numbers and lines on the page. The next day they went over what she had been working on and touched it up a bit. They also had a small disagreement about the best fingering for a particular measure, and if you were to guess who prevailed, you might be surprised.
