I bought the album Harvest in 1976 and now I'm playing OLd Man on my guitar, how cool is that?written by napaman39, February 05, 2011
Yeah- That was a long wait. Actually the only reason I hung around for the last couple of months was to see if this was going to come out, after the promise was made. I was on the verge of "Osta La Vesta Baby". So - thanks. I'll stick around some more to see what's up. B'out time for some Lynard Skynyrd- Simple Man. Keep up the good work Neil. written by Diver1, October 04, 2009
As many others, I've been waiting a long time for this one. Great lesson, Neil, especially with all the details that I haven't found anywhere else! Also really appreciate the sing along part that sort of rap things up. However, I'd rate this song as more difficult than "5", personally I actually think it's more difficult and intricate than Cinnamon Girl which got a "6". Anyway, thanks a million for this one and hope we won't have to wait as long for "Don't let it bring you down" in "correct" tuning (is it double drop D or C?)!:Dwritten by bilbo, October 04, 2009

Great lesson ! By the way,I got the following book for my birthday last year, it was a good vacation read: Shakey: Neil Young's Biography by James McDonough NY allowed the author access to himself and entourage, but even though this biography is "authorized" by the subject, it does get grungy at times. Gives an interesting peek into many periods of recent history. oh yeah ... great lesson!written by cosmicmechanic, October 02, 2009
I have been a Target member since May and have really enjoyed you easy going encouraging style of teaching. Your explanation of the "Claw Hammer" technique was really well done and of great interest to me. I have been playing Old Man for about a year now and this insite to the technique will really add to my enjoyment when palying this classic. Thanks Neil, I haven't played this much and had this much fun with the guitar for a long time. (I started playing at 16 and I am 59 now) I love it! written by mcfingers, October 02, 2009
