TARGET Members will have any Charts, TAB, and Guitar Pro Files As we enter 2011 we are bringing you a song that is just a few months old- Beg Steal Or Borrow by Ray LaMontagne. Ray recently hit the scene with a throwback sound and look, along with some great songs. Beg Steal Or Borrow is pretty much a folky Campfire song that just uses a steady strumming pattern over mostly open chords. The song has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the US for last year.

Love seeing Ray LaMontagne on here Neil thanks! All Ray's stuff is great. I hope to see more lessons for him. The song "How Come" from his first album is another easy one that has that sixties feel to it sort of like "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield. That song of course was written by Stephen Stills. Ray LaMontagne has said that it was Stephen Stills' song "Tree-Top Flyer" that influenced him to quit his job and perform full-time.written by trix606, December 10, 2011
Thanks Neil, I got hooked on this song late in the fall, hearing it on our local university radio station in Philly. Awesome lyrics, great melody, it was on my list to try and figure out since it sounded like I might be able to handle it. I had the lyrics memorized before I found it here, now it would be awesome to learn some of the lead parts. Chanwritten by pchood, January 22, 2011
