How lucky am I? My name was drawn as the winner of the Grand Prize in the 3-Minute Challenge #2. That granted me a private lesson with Neil Hogan! And I learned that Neil is even more impressive live and in person (even though it was Zoom!).

I was nervous at first, but that disappeared after a minute of conversation - Neil has a knack there. He used my beginner's knowledge and quickly provided the relationship of notes, scales, keys, chords, and the circle of fifths. It all became clear - and USEFUL - for the first time! Concepts that are probably second nature to most of you on this forum, but opened up into clarity for me in just a few minutes.

And the lesson was fun from start to end. We discussed music, different styles and artists, shared some stories, and of course, there was guitar playing.

Neil was able to descend to my level and bring me up in just one visit. I hope to schedule for more of his instruction after I do my homework for a while. Highly recommended!

P.S. - Many thanks to my brother for telling me about Total Guitars and the 3-Minute Challenge!
