As we continued talking about his CDs, we got into his record company, Hulu Kupuno Productions, choosing songs for albums, artists insecurities, the Hoku awards for his debut album (mentioning the only other artists to win four with their first albums, Willie K and Keali’I Reichel), then played a song Mark had written for his daughter, Kaleoonaluni.

We also discussed modulating to different keys and other songs that use the technique.
